The programme was chosen to use the skills of the Temple musicians and the Temple Church providing a broad range of Christmas music. From the 16th century works by Di lasso and Sweelinck we cross all the way to the 21st century with a fascinating arrangement by one of our singers, Jonathan Darbourne. Greg Morris will usher in the Christmas season with organ music by Bach and Messiaen, and there are the wonderful evocative motes for this special season by Poulenc and Lauridsen. The concert is performed by the Temple Church Choir and Temple Singers, both independently and together.

The Temple Winter Festival is presented by Hazard Chase in association with the Temple Music Foundation.
